Recluse

This biomimicry project draws inspiration from spider webs and nests, using crochet and knitting. A cocoon-like garment was created that captures the appearance of being trapped in a spider web while still remaining wearable. Dropped stitches mimic the appearance of a damaged web, evoking the struggle of an insect trying to escape, while subtle beadwork simulates water droplets.
