Amoeba

Drawing from the organic structures of the human body under a microscope, “Amoeba” is inspired by the human ability to adapt and overcome challenges, mirroring an amoeba’s ever-changing form. The design consists of two elements: a simple dress layered under a deconstructed sculptural piece, embodying the concept of wearing one’s heart on their sleeve. This dress was created for the 30th Anniversary UC Davis Red Dress Collection, an initiative dedicated to raising awareness for women’s heart health, and was donated to remain a permanent part of their collection.
