In Bloom

“In Bloom” is a textile collection inspired by a pair of shoes crafted by the Miao people of Southwest China. The depiction of clouds and native flora on the shoes became the foundation for the collection’s theme, which focuses on succulents and their organic forms. The designs employ direct dyeing techniques, including stenciling, stamping, and discharge methods, to create depth and texture. Embroidery was thoughtfully incorporated to pay homage to these textile traditions of the Miao people.
